A hallmarked, textured, forged Sterling Silver ring of an open form set with a caobochon of Nuummite .

Being colourblind I sometimes do not appreciate the subtleties of dark colours, but this piece of Nuummite really appealed to me as I began to reveal the inside the rough gemstone.

This was the first of the Menhir Open Rings and I wanted it to be subtler than the others thus the gemand ring is on the small size and the silver has been patinaed dark slate grey.
